In addition to his chief pilot responsibilities, Tim flies a Lake amphibian on the Amazon and its tributaries out of Santarém, and a 206 into jungle strips in the Boa Vista area. He and Roxanne actually ferried the amphibian Lake Buccaneer from the Seattle area to Belo Horazonte in southern Brazil. Tim was born and grew up in San Diego, California. He accepted Christ as his Savior when he was a young child. At the Lutheran Bible Institute in Seattle, now Trinity Lutheran College (TLC), his heart was touched by the Lord, sparking the desire for full-time Christian service in mission aviation. Tim attended Christian Heritage College where he studied Mission Aviation Technology. He holds commercial and instructor pilot licenses with instrument and seaplane ratings and airframe and powerplant mechanic licenses. In addition to wrapping up 18 years of home-schooling, Roxanne's days were filled with flight-following, descipling women, helping with children's ministry, and aiding teams and short-term missionaries with transportation and translating. Roxanne grew up in a Christian home in Seattle, Washington. It was at the Lutheran Bible Institute that Roxanne and Tim met. Following their marriage, Roxanne trained as a licensed practical nurse. Amber's husband, Sean is graduating from the University of Washington as a Physician’s Assistant and is planning to rejoin the military as an officer. Corrie is working with Amazon Vision Ministries, which has an outreach to the river communities in the Manaus area and is also working in tourism. Ben is working in construction in Seattle. Caleb is going to study at New Tribes Bible Institute beginning in January 2009. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10. Tim and Roxanne share, "These verses express our desire to respond to God's great love and salvation by taking His message to those who would not hear unless someone goes to them." To fund the worldwide ministry of MAF, God is faithful in providing generous ministry support from His caring people. He has called the men and women of MAF to serve Him in a unique way. He is also calling people like you to play a special role in the ministry of MAF around the world. You are invited to become a Ministry Partner in this strategic ministry. Please prayerfully consider involvement with Tim and Roxanne through prayer and/or financial support. |

earning rewards and enjoying exceptionally low rates!
Tim and Roxanne Ault and their children, Amber (1980), Corrie (1982), Ben (1985), and Caleb (1989), are missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship serving in Brazil. After language school they went to Boa Vista in 1990. They briefly helped out in Mozambique, Africa, from 1995 to 1997, later returning to Boa Vista. This past term they were based in Santarém, Brazil, and helped out in Boa Vista for 2 eight-month periods. In Santarém, Tim opened a new seaplane base to aid Project AmaZon, which is planting churches and ministering in Gospel outreach, with the goal of reaching the over 30, 000 isolated communities along the Amazon River system. Tim and Roxanne share, "The people we fly for are our heroes, and we are so glad to be able to help them in every way we can."
