Lynette has seen God move in many marvelous ways since her arrival in Ecuador. The deepening relationships that she enjoys with this unique international community have resulted in a better understanding of cultures different from of our own. Recently, after 9 years of family raising, Lynette has returned to teaching 6th – 8th grade middleschool. Her students are a bright and inquisitive group of missionary kids ready to learn! Her increased responsibilities keep her quite busy molding young lives is a gift that should be shared. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Robert came to know the Lord through the influence of his mother. She provided the fundamental truth and love that enabled him to trust Christ at an early age. Robert shares that his church supported many missionaries, but two in particular challenged him to consider his first short-term assignment in 1989. This trip was an answer to Robert's prayer of re-dedication, asking God to show him clearly His will and His existence. Robert's degrees include an A.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Alfred State University in Alfred, NY, and a B.S. in Electronic Engineering Technology in Johnson City, He studied 2 years of bible at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, and one year at Moody Aviation in Tennessee where he earned certificates needed to maintain aircraft. Robert also has a private pilot license. Robert shares that his motivation comes from Matthew, chapter 25. "It describes our part in serving others, particularly those who are underprivileged." Lynette was born in Madison, WI, where she lived until moving to Verona, WI, in middle school. Lynette shares that she became a Christian in the seventh grade at a youth group summer camp. "My youth director was instrumental in my decision to ask Christ into my life. Then, my aunt and uncle continued to encourage my Christian growth." In high school and college, Lynette worked at a Christian camp that shared Christ with needy children. She became serious about missions after she met Robert. Lynette attended the University of Wisconsin, Eau-Claire, and then East Tennessee State University where she completed her B.S. in Elementary Education. She also received her Masters in Education, with an emphasis in Reading. Robert and Lynette met through a mutual friend and were married in July of 1997. 1 John 3: 17-18 are special verses to Lynette. "These verses are important to me, because I have felt called to love through my actions throughout God's WHOLE Kingdom." Rebecca is found of music and is often heard singing and humming to herself. She also enjoys living on a spacious campus, full of friends! Robert is all boy and is often found with a stick in hand, dueling the “bad guys” and monsters found in the jungle. Robert & Lynette DiCrasto

earning rewards and enjoying exceptionally low rates!
Robert and Lynette DiCrasto, along with their two children, Rebecca Lyn and Robert Felice, are missionaries with MAF. Since 2005, Latin America has slowly become a place we call “home.” Robert’s interest in serving others like Christ did make the challenge of technical work in a third world environment worth while! He labors to provide dependable radio communications and computing to the jungle community, missionaries and MAF staff in the Pastaza and Morona Santiago provinces. Two important projects in process now are upgrades to GPS radios in our fleet of 5 aircraft and upgrades to failing radios in the jungle emergency radio network. These are important to our Ecuador program because MAF cannot continue to serve the indigenous population, missionaries, and national churches in Ecuador without dependable communications.
