As a pilot/mechanic, Mark has ministered to missionaries, local pastors, hospitals, clinics, and development organizations. Mark is also the assistant MAF Program Manager and notes, “It is exciting to see how the use of our aircraft overcomes the barriers of mountains, poor infrastructure, and dangerous travel conditions over the roads. This has impacted people and communities for God’s Kingdom and provided wonderful opportunities for people to make a decision for Him.”

Romans 11:33-36 encourages Mark as he and his family work in Christ’s great name. Mark shares, “It’s a beautiful, praiseful doxology which keeps my perspective on just how great our God is.”

As Glee serves at Mark’s side, her first priority is as a wife and mother to their two boys who remain with them in Haiti. Their daughter, Amber, is attending seminary, and their son, Marc is attending college in Minnesota.. Glee is also a full-time teacher at the International Christian School, where the boys attend. She has taught high and middle school social studies, Bible, Chess, elementary PE, coached, and also served as the Guidance Counselor and Athletic Director. She wants to help influence the potential future business and government leaders of Haiti (who also attend the school) for the Lord. This past year she taught senior high Sunday School.

Romans 10:9-10 are significant verses in Glee’s life. “If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.” She states that, “it is important to me, because it is not enough just to believe. He must be Lord and we need to follow Him.”

After furlough, both Mark and Glee look forward to returning to Port-au-Prince, Haiti to continue the work God has called them to do.
