Nathan and Laura Beth Moses look forward to serving the Lord as missionaries with Mission Aviation Fellowship. Nathan will be serving as a pilot/mechanic and Laura Beth as a pilot specialist overseas where they plan to use aviation to further the kingdom of God by supporting the church in remote areas.
Nathan grew up in a military family and wanted to fly for the Air Force. His desire changed during his time at LeTourneau University when he saw that airplanes are not just cool toys but that they can be used for any purpose, including spreading the Gospel! In 2013, he moved to Alaska to gain relevant work experience and is excited to merge his lifelong interest in aviation with his heart for sharing God’s love with others.
Laura Beth was raised in a Christian home in northern Virginia. Her sister led her to the Lord at a young age and by God’s grace, she desired to follow Him. In high school, a missionary pilot shared his testimony at chapel. Prior to that moment, she had no aviation experience, but through his testimony, God kindled a fervor for both missions and aviation. Through the Lord’s leading and provision, Laura Beth went on to study at San Diego Christian College in their missionary aviation program and graduated in 2015.
A summer job in Alaska brought Nathan and Laura Beth together and on a hike in the mountains, they discovered a shared passion for missions. They married in 2015, and God has since given them many opportunities for spiritual growth and aviation experience as they have prepared to serve with MAF.
God calls the men and women of MAF to serve Him in unique ways. He may also be calling you to a special role in the Moses family ministry. Please prayerfully consider becoming a Ministry Partner with them through prayer and/or financial support.
MAF missionaries raise support for a pooled fund out of which MAF covers salary, housing, benefits, and staff-related ministry expenses. MAF exercises discretion over the use of missionary support in the exercise of its mission and care of its staff.
