eff and Anny Fouche are eager to serve the Lord as they obediently follow Him overseas to serve with Mission Aviation Fellowship. As a pilot, Jeff will utilize his unique skills to be the wings of the gospel through MAF, leveraging aviation to spread the gospel of Christ to isolated people. Anny will continue her God-given role as a stay-at-home mother of two – daughter Kyndall and son Corbin – and hopes her training and skill in art and teaching will facilitate connection within their new community.
Jeff was born in Redding, California, but moved to northern Idaho with his parents at age one. He came to Christ through the witness of his parents, who also exposed him to mission service through various work trips with their church. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Jeff settled into a career in that field. However, God had a course change in mind: “I’ve always been passionate about airplanes, even from an early age,” shares Jeff. “It wasn’t until I watched an MAF video in church [in 2011] that I felt called to service – it was like a gong in my soul.” He pursued additional training, worked nights and weekends, gained experience, and even quit his day job to start a flight school as part of his journey to MAF.
Anny was born and raised in Grand Coulee, Washington. She grew up in the church, surrounded by extended family who were involved in missionary and church service, including grandparents who were lifelong missionaries worldwide. She attended Seattle Pacific University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Art in 2001.
Anny and Jeff met when they were 16 at a church youth retreat. They dated briefly, then drifted apart, only to reunite in 2002 at a work-and-witness trip in Guatemala that just happened to include Jeff’s parents. Anny and Jeff were married in 2005.
It is certainly through the Lord’s provision and guidance that the Fouches are positioned to serve with MAF, an opportunity for which they feel blessed and fortunate. God calls the men and women of MAF to serve Him in unique ways. He may also be calling you to a special role in the Fouches’ ministry. Please prayerfully consider becoming a Ministry Partner with them through prayer and/or financial support.
MAF missionaries raise support for a pooled fund out of which MAF covers salary, housing, benefits, and staff-related ministry expenses. MAF exercises discretion over the use of missionary support in the exercise of its mission and care of its staff.
