Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, November 28

Praise God for the marvelous gift of peace that He gives us when He is among us.

  • Tuesday, November 29

Pray for John and Cora Lou Miller who served six terms with MAF in Irian Jaya (now called Papua), Indonesia as a pilot-mechanic family. Currently they are based at MAF Headquarters, where John coordinates volunteers in the hangar machine shop.

  • Wednesday, November 30

Praise God for relative peace during some very tense times relating to elections in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

  • Thursday, December 1

Lift up Kevin and Kim Mills and their three children as they serve as MAF dorm parents at Hillcrest International School (HIS) in Papua, Indonesia. They have the privilege and responsibility of parenting 12 additional missionary kids whose parents are serving with various missions throughout Indonesia.

  • Friday, December 2

Please pray that MAF teams around the world would “remain in Christ” (John 15:4) and for continued unity (John 13:34-35).

  • Saturday, December 3

Pray for the safety of MAF’s Edutech Mission team amid the rising crime rate in Costa Rica.

  • Sunday, December 4

Many are working long and hard in Haiti following Hurricane Matthew, and MAF is grateful to God for them. David Carwell, MAF program manager in Haiti, writes, “I would like to express my thanks to the many who have come to help out here, and the many who are helping remotely. I’m thankful to our donors as well … many are working together to show the love of Christ. May we be faithful to Him, and see His harvest.”
