December 28 – January 3 , 2016

TThis resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are.

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, December 28

Praise God for the abundant and adventurously expectant life that is ours in Christ. With childlike faith, may we approach 2016 knowing at a deeper level who we truly are, asking Him “What’s next, Papa?”

  • Tuesday, December 29

Pray for God’s wisdom for MAF leadership as they make some pivitol decisions about MAF flight operations and staff placement.

  • Wednesday, December 30

Pray for Alas de Socorro del Ecuador that permission will be granted soon to start flying their KODIAK aircraft, and that things will go smoothly as they seek to obtain an Air Operator’s Certificate. Praise God for His faithfulness to this MAF affiliate in Ecuador.

  • Thursday, December 31

As the year comes to a close, praise God for His guidance, provision, and protection over MAF these past 70 years as an organization. May MAF faithfully seek His face in 2016.

  • Friday, January 1

Pray that God will help us recognise HIM in every situation, seeking His face daily.

  • Saturday, January 2

Pray for a resolution to the border blockade between Nepal and India. It is not only causing considerable disruption in Kathmandu, but also the winter preparation aid so desperately needed in the mountains is not getting through.

  • Sunday, January 3

Doug and Janie Heidebrink served many years in Kalimantan, Indonesia, with MAF. Now Doug serves as an aircraft maintenance instructor at MAF headquarters in Nampa, evaluating potential MAF candidates, and preparing mechanics to serve overseas in various MAF programs. Janie currently serves as the financial secretary, children’s church coordinator, and AWANA teacher at their local church. Please pray for God’s blessing on their ministry.
