  • Monday, July 17

    Charles Spurgeon once said, “Train up a child in the way he should go—but be sure you go that way yourself.” Pray for MAF families as they raise their children in difficult places. May their children give them great joy as they grow in wisdom./li>

  • Tuesday, July 18

    Pray for encouragement and vision for the South Central Asia staff in the face of some difficult recent events. They are in great need of some additional staff as well.

  • Wednesday, July 19

    Praise God for the encouraging visit to MAF Papua by Larry Jones (MAF-US board member) and his wife, Linda. Their love of Bible translation and telling Bible stories warmed and refreshed many hearts.

  • Thursday, July 20

    Lift up Jim and Candace Abell who have faithfully served with MAF since 1994. They served in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC, previously Zaire), Zambia, and in the US, working in aviation parts inventory, purchasing and shipping. Currently Jim keeps the MAF worldwide fleet stocked with parts and supplies as our shipping agent. Candy serves as an MAF volunteer and is involved in church ministries.

  • Friday, July 21

    Please pray for the Ministry Awareness team ad they prepare for their trip from Nampa, Idaho, to EAA Air Venture air show in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Pray for health, safe travels, and God-ordained connections as they represent MAF at this large event.

  • Saturday, July 22

    Lift up Doug and Karin Allrich who are serving the tribal people living in the remotest reaches of Papua, Indonesia. Doug flies much-needed food, medicine, fuel, building supplies, and school materials while providing medevac and other passenger services on a routine basis. Karin provides hospitality to traveling visitors by serving as the MAF guesthouse coordinator. She is also a 24/7 on-call nurse for MAF and other missionary staff living in Papua.

  • Sunday, July 23

    Australia has re-instated pilots, flight instructors and avionics engineers onto the visa list of 457 approved skilled occupations. Praise God for this positive change, which opens opportunities and greatly benefits MAF Mareeba Training Centre in Australia.
