March 11 – 17, 2013

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”—Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

Please pray for the MAF team that is currently exploring the possibility of extending MAF ministry into a new country. Ask God to grant wisdom, clear direction, and divine appointments.
  • Tuesday, March 12
Lift up Denis and Susie Haglund and their two daughters. Denis serves in MAF’s Disaster Response and Security department at ministry headquarters in Nampa, Idaho.
  • Wednesday, March 13
Pray for the MAF board of directors as they meet this week in Nampa, Idaho.
  • Thursday, March 14
Many MAF staff are travelling in the U.S. and internationally in the next week. Please ask the Lord for safety while they are on the road and in the air.
  • Friday, March 15
Today MAF is dedicating an aircraft for service in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Please thank the Lord for providing this plane and pray that it will be used effectively to build His kingdom.
  • Saturday, March 16
Roy and Sue Haglund have served with MAF for more than 30 years—in Africa, in Central America, and now at MAF headquarters where Roy is cash/risk manager and Sue is a ministry partnership coach. Please lift up these faithful servants. Learn more about this family at www.maf.org/haglund.
  • Sunday, March 17
Please pray for new missionaries who are just beginning their service with MAF. Pray that they will adjust to the cultures where they serve and that they will bear much fruit in service of our Lord.
