Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, June 3
    Please pray for the healing of a small baby that an MAF pilot flew from Pogapa to Timika in Indonesia for medical care. The child’s right upper leg had been burned.
  • Tuesday, June 4
    Pray for MAF staff in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo who are reopening the base in Nyankunde 11 years after it was destroyed by tribal militias. Pray for safety and that MAF will be a loving witness in this community.
  • Wednesday, June 5
    Pray for the ministry of Alas de Socorro, the MAF affiliate organization in Ecuador. They are based in Oaxaca with two Cessna 206 airplanes.
  • Thursday, June 6
    Please lift up Justin and Amanda Honaker, who serve with MAF in Lesotho where Justin is a pilot/mechanic. Learn more about this family at www.maf.org/honaker.
  • Friday, June 7
    MAF is moving forward to purchase two KODIAK airplanes to replace aging piston engine planes in Indonesia. Please ask the Lord to raise up those supporters who will be blessed through giving to this project.
  • Saturday, June 8
    Please pray for John and Nancy Hook, who have served with MAF for some 30 years. Previously a pilot, John now works in the MAF recruiting department. He says, “We have been blessed in so many ways and if we were young again, we would go again!” Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/hook.
  • Sunday, June 9
    MAF’s ministry advocates will hold their annual summit in Nampa beginning Monday. Pray that they will be refreshed and motivated through this gathering.
