Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, February 17
    Please pray for the family of Hobey Lowrance, who was promoted to heaven on February 7. Hobey was a pioneer MAF missionary who joined the organization in 1948 and played a critical role in developing MAF’s training and safety programs. Hobey and his wife, Olivia, served with MAF 38 years.
  • Tuesday, February 18
    Pray for those participating in MAF’s instructor pilot seminar this week at ministry headquarters in Nampa, Idaho.
  • Wednesday, February 19
    Lift in prayer the many volunteers who serve MAF all around the world. Ask the Lord to bless their efforts to advance the Kingdom of God.
  • Thursday, February 20
    Please pray for believers who live in places where it can be dangerous to be a Christian. Please ask the Lord to protect and encourage them while they demonstrate His love to those around them.
  • Friday, February 21
    The MAF team in Kalimantan, Indonesia, recently delivered Bibles — 10,529 pounds worth — to a remote area. Pray for our pilots as they deliver the Word of God and other critical supplies to isolated people around the world.
  • Saturday, February 22
    Ask the Lord to call the right candidates to fill open positions at MAF, both overseas and at headquarters. Learn more: www.maf.org/serve.
  • Sunday, February 23
    Please lift up Tim and Kathy Maynard and their children, serving with MAF in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Tim is chief of maintenance at the base in Tarakan. Read more about their ministry at www.maf.org/maynard.
