September 1 – 7, 2015

Let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. — Hebrews 12:1b-2 (NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, September 1
Pray for the 120 pastors being trained today in El Salvador by MAF’s EduTecnologia team. Most of the pastors are very young and have no formal training.
  • Tuesday, September 2
Please pray for the team of MAF-Learning Technologies. MAF-LT has staff in eight countries and works worldwide to make tools, resources, and training available to isolated Christian leaders so they can create materials in their own language and context.
  • Wednesday, September 3
Pray for MAF’s IT and LT teams as they integrate into one Tech Resources department. Pray that they will be characterized by biblical, God-pleasing traits—thankfulness, unity, wisdom, discernment, and prayer.
  • Thursday, September 4
Pray for the ministries served by MAF-Learning Technologies. Pray that they will learn to create effective digital versions of their discipleship and leadership training materials.
  • Friday, September 5
Lift up Jeff and Michele Turcotte who serve the Lord at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho, where Jeff is a development officer. Jeff is also a pilot who flew for MAF in Mali.
  • Saturday, September 6
Blue Sky Aviation, an MAF affiliate organization in Mongolia, has begun service to the unreached area of Sukhbaatar Aimag. Pray that the people there will open their hearts to Jesus and put aside their worship of idols.
  • Sunday, September 7
Please pray for Phil and Jessica Vana, new missionaries preparing to serve with MAF in Indonesia. Phil is a pilot/mechanic. Read more about this family at www.maf.org/vana.
