Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, September 8
    Today MAF will be dedicating a KODIAK airplane at an event in Sparks, Nevada. Give thanks for the Summit Christian Church, which is hosting the dedication ceremony, and pray that many will learn about MAF through this event.
  • Tuesday, September 9
    Continue to ask God to protect the people of western Africa from Ebola. Pray also for a cure for this dreadful virus.
  • Wednesday, September 10
    MAF has transported medical personnel and supplies to the Boende area of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where more than 50 people have been infected with Ebola. Pray for the Ebola patients and for the health workers treating them. Pray that the virus will not spread to other parts of the DRC.
  • Thursday, September 11
    Please pray for Warren and Julie Veal and their five children. Warren is quality manager in MAF’s Aviation Safety & Quality department. The family previously served with MAF in Mozambique. Learn more: www.maf.org/veal.
  • Friday, September 12
    Lift up the staff of MAF’s Ministry Advancement department. This hard-working team maintains the website, travels to events, creates communication materials, and is an important link between MAF and its supporters.
  • Saturday, September 13
    MAF has a display at the Reno Air Races this weekend. Pray that the races will be safe and that many will be blessed through their conversations with MAF staff.
  • Sunday, September 14
    Pray for stability in Lesotho, which experienced unrest last week. Please ask God to change hearts and minds in this small African country.
