Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, September 15
    MAF has conducted several flights to the Boende district of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), delivering personnel and supplies to combat an Ebola outbreak. Pray for those suffering from the disease, and pray for the safety of the health workers.
  • Tuesday, September 16
    Give thanks for the PC-12 aircraft that has just joined the MAF fleet in the DRC. MAF is grateful for the supporters who contributed to this project. Pray that many people will be introduced to Jesus through the work of this airplane.
  • Wednesday, September 17
    An MAF family in Haiti has experienced several home invasion attempts. Thank God that the attempts have been thwarted and ask Him to continue to protect this family.
  • Thursday, September 18
    MAF’s Board of Directors meets today at ministry headquarters in Idaho. Pray for wisdom as they consider many decisions critical to the ministry.
  • Friday, September 19
    Lift up Alas de Socorro, MAF’a affiliate organization in Mexico. Pray that they will receive permission to land on the many small airstrips in the mountains.
  • Saturday, September 20
    Pray for MAF’s recruiting team as they connect with future missionary aviators. Ask the Lord to call many to serve with MAF.
  • Sunday, September 21
    Please pray for Tim and Tonya Vennell and their five children. The Vennells have served many years with MAF in Kenya, DRC, and Lesotho, and are now transitioning to MAF headquarters in Idaho where Tim will serve in the Technology Resources department.
