Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, May 25
Continue to pray for the people of Nepal who are suffering following several earthquakes that have caused widespread damage. Pray that people will receive needed help and be able to construct shelters before the monsoons arrive in June.
  • Tuesday, May 26
Please remember to pray for the MAF staff working in Nepal, and also pray for the staff of Fishtail Air, the company we are partnering with to coordinate helicopter transportation to remote areas. Pray that the team will find times of rest and refreshment during long, hard days, and that many will be blessed by meeting them.
  • Wednesday, May 27
Give thanks for the opening of the Mbamba Kilenda airstrip in western Democratic Republic of the Congo. Pray that MAF will be able share the love of Jesus with the people of this area
  • Thursday, May 28
Four MAF families had babies in the past month! Pray that these two boys and two girls will grow up to love and serve the Lord.
  • Friday, May 29
Pray for villages in the Democratic Republic of the Congo that were recently visited by a missionary and a Congolese pastor on an evangelistic tour. Pray that the Word of God will take root in the hearts of the people there, and that it will grow and bear fruit.
  • Saturday, May 30
MAF staff recently set up computer centers in three towns in Colombia. Pray that the pastors and others who use these learning centers will grow in their knowledge of Christ and be bold to share the Gospel with their neighbors.
  • Sunday, May 31
Several positions are open at MAF’s headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Ask the Lord to bring the right people for these jobs. Learn more: https://www.maf.org/serve/usa.
