How to volunteer with MAF

Be a force behind the ministry

Are you ready to use your skills to further God's kingdom around the world?

As a volunteer with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in Nampa, Idaho, you can support our global ministry by assisting with a variety of tasks, like thanking donors, working local events, or picking missionaries up from the airport.

Every task—big or small—helps move the mission forward while saving MAF time and resources. We would love for you to join our team!

Who can volunteer with MAF?

MAF volunteers must:

  • Be 14 years of age or older, although minors may be able to participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Have a heart to support missions.
  • Possess skills relevant to the volunteer role.
  • Act in accordance with MAF's Standards of Conduct and Safeguarding Guidelines.
  • Pass a background check.

  1. Submit an application to the position you're interested in (see below for available roles.)
  2. After receiving your application, our project leader will check references, run a background check, and potentially follow up with any additional questions. This step may take a few weeks before you hear back. Thanks for your patience!
  3. After being accepted as a volunteer, you will be asked to conduct important child safeguarding training and sign several documents (Acceptance Agreements, IT Usage Policy, Standards of Conduct, and Safeguarding Policy.)
  4. You're all set to start serving at Mission Aviation Fellowship!
