April 20 – 26, 2015

“I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope.” — Psalm 130:5 (NIV)

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, April 20
MAF’s program in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo is expecting three new missionary families in the next few months. Pray that transitions will be smooth and everyone will settle into their new routines with relative ease.
  • Tuesday, April 21
The MAF team in Mozambique recently delivered three airplane loads of medical aid to clinics that had been cut off for weeks because heavy rains have washed out roads in the region. Pray that people will receive the medical care they need and will be healed of their illnesses and injuries.
  • Wednesday, April 22
Please ask the Lord to provide an elementary school teacher for missionary children in Kalimantan, Indonesia.
  • Thursday, April 23
Pray that the FAA will certify the new Aerocet amphibious floats for the KODIAK aircraft. Once those floats are certified, an MAF KODIAK will depart for Kalimantan, Indonesia, where it will serve remote communities along Kalimantan’s many rivers.
  • Friday, April 24
Please ask the Lord to provide an aircraft hangar for a flight school MAF operates in a difficult area of Asia. Our airplanes have no shelter from the elements, and monsoon season is coming.
  • Saturday, April 25
Pray for the safety of MAF missionary families travelling by road in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Ground travel can be very dangerous due to poor road maintenance, unsafe drivers, and possible attacks by bandits.
  • Sunday, April 26
Please pray that MAF staff will have opportunities for transformational conversations with the people they serve.
