Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies.” — Psalm 36:5
As we near end of the year, many people take time to reflect on what has happened in their lives and dream about the future.
It’s no different at MAF. In reflecting over the past year, I see how MAF still faithfully responds to the vision God gave this ministry many years ago: to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of people living in isolated areas. MAF has served in many places over the years, yet we know there are still people in remote villages that need our help.
In 2012, MAF dutifully provided that bridge. All over the world, MAF continued its services to people in desperate need. Then there were new adventures. In Papua, Indonesia, MAF began serving the Weserau people for the first time. The area where they live is rough and inhospitable, yet MAF created an air bridge between their isolated village and the outside world.
MAF consists of faithful men and women who understand who God has called us to serve and reach. As God is still using mediums like radio to broadcast the Gospel message into remote areas, God is also using our airplanes to reach people in tangible ways as well as spiritual ways.
So as we reflect on 2012, we take a moment to thank God for His faithfulness to this ministry and your faithfulness to support this endeavor. Looking forward to 2013, we expect to continue making a difference in the lives of people living in remote areas all across the world.
