April 16 – April 22, 2018

I’ve thrown myself headlong into your arms—I’m celebrating your rescue. I’m singing at the top of my lungs, I’m so full of answered prayers.
—Psalm 13:5 (MSG)

Monday, April 16
LORD, we choose to trust in and put our confidence in You, merciful God. You rescue us and we sing to You with gratitude. You are our salvation!

Tuesday, April 17
Please pray for the MAF Brazil affiliate, Asas de Socorro, that the Lord will send more workers, pilots, mechanics, flight instructors, IT personnel, and managers.

Wednesday, April 18
Praise God for the good progress that the MAF Kalimantan team and visiting aircraft mechanics (like my husband, Larry) are having as they pack up two well-loved and well-used float planes in Palangkaraya.

Thursday, April 19
Lift up Roy and Lientje Kidjo, who have served with MAF in Papua, Indonesia, since 2003. Roy is an IT specialist and manages the VSAT communications network as well as church relations in Papua. Pray for them as they visit their children in the US after being apart for more than four years, and that US visas will go smoothly.

Friday, April 20
Today, the MAF Liberia team is having a Fellowship Day together. Pray that they would have a good time of building one another up. Also, today is the national “Prayer and Fasting” day, which is a public holiday set aside to pray for peace and stability, and to remind Liberia that true peace and reconciliation can be achieved with prayer.

Saturday, April 21
Lift up Bill and Jan Kilgore, MAF missionaries since 1988. They have served as a pilot/mechanic family in several African locations as well as Haiti. Currently, Bill is flight instructing on-loan to Moody Aviation, training future missionary pilots for overseas service. Their hearts go out to the suffering Congolese in eastern DRC. Please pray for them!

Sunday, April 22
Please pray for the health of our team in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (EDRC) during this stressful time. Several folks have been quite sick, especially the kids.
