Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, August 5
This week MAF will be displaying its new KODIAK aircraft to supporters in Chicago and Holland, MI, and also at the Thunder Over Michigan Air Show. Please pray that our friends will be blessed by this chance to see the airplane and speak with staff.
  • Tuesday, August 6
Pray for Vicki Jensen, who serves in MAF’s Advancement Services department at ministry headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Vicki and her husband have three grown children.
  • Wednesday, August 7
Praise God for the completion of the Hupla translation of the Bible. The Bibles are in the printing process and a dedication is being planned for early next year. This translation will coincide with a 50-year celebration of the gospel coming to that people group of Papua, Indonesia.
  • Thursday, August 8
MAF Sunday will be held on October 6, 2013. Please pray that people will volunteer to host the event in their church. To learn more about MAF Sunday, click here.
  • Friday, August 9
Pray for MAF-Learning Technologies staff as they seek the Lord’s guidance on collecting digital Christian teaching material for the first Estante library.
  • Saturday, August 10
Please lift up Mike and Angie Johnson, new MAF missionaries who are preparing to serve in Indonesia. Mike is a pilot/mechanic. Learn more about this family at www.maf.org/mjohnson.
  • Sunday, August 11
Praise God for the doctors who make a real difference in the lives of hundreds of village people in Mozambique.
