Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, February 13
    MAF Aviation Resources is conducting its “Chief of Maintenance” training in Nampa this week. Please lift up these participants who have traveled from many places around the world.
  • Tuesday, February 14
    Richard Morris, director of MAF-Learning Technologies, was injured last week when struck by a car. Please pray for his speedy recovery, praising God that the injuries were not more serious.
  • Wednesday, February 15
    The MAF team in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (East DRC) includes six pilot families and nine Congolese staff in Bunia, five Congolese staff in Nyankunde, and one maintenance specialist family in Uganda. Please pray for the ministry of these dedicated servants.
  • Thursday, February 16
    Pray for fresh vision in 2012 as we seek deeper fellowship and partnership with the Congolese Church in reaching East DRC for Christ.
  • Friday, February 17
    Please ask the Lord for wisdom and favor for East DRC program manager Joey Lincoln as he works through flight permission issues with airport officials.
  • Saturday, February 18
    Praise God for His continued movement in reconciliation breakthroughs. A number of ex-militia from the tribe that attacked MAF’s Nyankunde (DRC) base in 2002, who are now believers, visited Nyankunde in late December to confess and ask forgiveness. Powerful prayer, reconciliation and fellowship followed.
  • Sunday, February 19
    MAF-Learning Technologies recently created a Spanish-language video demonstrating the Simply the Story (STS) oral inductive Bible study method. Pray that this video will be useful to Latin American pastors who want to utilize the STS techniques to share the Gospel with those who do not use written language. See the video here.
