February 24 – March 2, 2014

“As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it … so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” — Isaiah 55:10-11 (NIV)

“We need never shout across the spaces to an absent God. He is nearer than our own soul, closer than our most secret thoughts.” — A.W. Tozer, The Pursuit of God

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, February 24
Pray for the MAF-Learning Technologies team in Costa Rica as they help ministries across Latin American train Christian leaders and build healthy churches
  • Tuesday, February 25
MAF missionaries must raise their own financial and prayer support before departing for service overseas. Please pray for all new missionaries working to put together a team of supporters who will enable their ministry. Give thanks for those who uphold them.
  • Wednesday, February 26
Pray for missionary families that are willing to serve in countries where it may be dangerous to live. Ask the Lord to protect them and to grant them the assurance of His call and His provisions for them.
  • Thursday, February 27
Ask the Lord to bless the many generous donors who support this ministry. Their partnership with MAF is invaluable, and assures that God’s love is shared in the most remote corners of the world.
  • Friday, February 28
Praise God that MAF delivered 10,529 lbs of Bibles to Long Bawan, East Kalimantan over the last four weeks! They will be given to those who need them most.
  • Saturday, March 1
Please pray for missionary children: for their health, adaptability, and a sense of security as they venture into unfamiliar territory.
  • Sunday, March 2
Remember to pray for the MAF maintenance staff who have the awesome responsibility to keep the planes in tip-top condition. Their work is vital to the safety and efficiency of our flight operations.
