Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, January 12
    Pray for the healing of WEC International missionary Maud Kells, who was shot in the shoulder on Jan. 4 during a robbery attempt. Maud is 75 years old and serves in Mulita, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). MAF flew her to the hospital in Nyankunde, DRC, where she is recovering. Give thanks to God for His protection and that she was not more seriously injured. Read MAF pilot Jon Cadd’s account of the incident.
  • Tuesday, January 13
    Please continue to pray that necessary permits will be issued for the MAF program in Mozambique.

  • Wednesday, January 14
    Thank you for praying for Tim and Roxanne Ault, MAF staff who serve with Asas de Socorro in Manaus, Brazil. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/ault.
  • Thursday, January 15
    Please lift up Ron and Jackie Banks, who serve at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Ron is an IT internet systems engineer in MAF’s Technical Resources division. Learn more about this family at www.maf.org/banks.

    Pray for the healing of many people who were injured in a bus crash on treacherous mountain roads in Lesotho. MAF carried seven of the most seriously injured to the hospital. Read MAF pilot Justin Honaker’s account of flying the last patient out.
  • Saturday, January 17
    Pray for MAF staff and other missionaries sharing God’s love in difficult places. Pray for physical and spiritual protection, and that there will be much fruit from their labor.
  • Sunday, January 18
    Please pray for the vendor organizations that assist MAF by providing goods and services. Pray that they will experience the love of Jesus through their association with Mission Aviation Fellowship.
