January 14 – 20, 2013

“Your kingdom is a kingdom eternal; you never get voted out of office. God always does what he says, and is gracious in everything he does. God gives a hand to those down on their luck, give a fresh start to those ready to quit.”—Psalm 145:13-14 (The Message)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, January 14
Pray for our pilots in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Sometimes they are reuniting families that have been separated for several years by the violence. Pray that the light of Gods’ Holy Spirit will shine brightly to these hurting people.
  • Tuesday, January 15
Join with our missionary staff as they praise God for teachers that have come to make the school experience fun for the Missionary Kids (MKs). Pray that God will continue to bless the teachers with both patience and creativity.
  • Wednesday, January 16
Remember to pray for MAF Ministry Advocates as they tell other believers about the barriers that separate millions from the life-changing truth of the Gospel. The advocates connect others with the ministry of MAF! Learn more at www.maf.org/serve/advocate-wing.
  • Thursday, January 17
Please pray for Doug and Ruth Harrison, MAF’s Member Care team, as they minister to the spiritual and physical needs of our staff. Learn more about the Harrisons at www.maf.org/harrison.
  • Friday, January 18
Pray for the new class of missionary candidates currently meeting in Nampa as they prepare to make their final decisions regarding serving God as part of the MAF team.
  • Saturday, January 19
Please lift up Rodney and Tammi Dyrud and their two children. While normally assigned to the MAF east DRC program, they are currently serving at MAF headquarters while seeking medical advice concerning their infant daughter. Read more about the family at www.maf.org/dyrud.
  • Sunday, January 20
Please pray for Missionary Kids (MKs) who are seniors in high school as they seek acceptance into colleges as well as the financial assistance they will need for college.
