Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, January 18

Thank God that He is a good teacher, showing us the way to walk in His Truth. May MAF staff and leadership around the world be characterized by having undivided hearts of submission to the King of kings.

  • Tuesday, January 19

Pray that MAF will find open doors to reach the unreached people groups with Christ’s love in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

  • Wednesday, January 20

Praise God that the need for MAF flying in Haiti is growing. International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) is currently auditing Haitian Civil aviation authorities and MAF’s new manuals are included in this process. Pray that these manuals will be accepted and that MAF receives confirmation in writing.

  • Thursday, January 21

There is a crucial need for an elementary education teacher to serve with the MAF program in Kalimantan, Indonesia, as well as a special education teacher for the East Democratic Republic of Congo program. Pray for teachers willing to go. If interested, email Crissie at crask@maf.org

  • Friday, January 22

Lift up the West DRC team and their extended families. Recently several people have had to make emergency trips back to theUSA due to health problems or deaths in their families. This adds extra work to an already short-staffed MAF program.

  • Saturday, January 23

Today an MAF advocate, Walt Steele, is sharing about MAF at a Chili cook-off event in a Chattanooga church. Please pray for good connections that will result in more MAF partners.

  • Sunday, January 24

Laura Harkonen, MAF pilot in eastern DRC, is currently seeking medical care in the USA. Pray for God’s wisdom in figuring out what is going on with her health and then for a healing touch from the Great Physician.
