Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, July 14
    A group of future missionaries begins candidacy class this week at MAF headquarters in Idaho. Please ask the Lord to speak to their hearts as they consider their call to mission work and learn about MAF.
  • Tuesday, July 15
    Please pray for the teenagers participating in MAF’s Aviation Adventure Camp in Cascade, Idaho, this week. Pray that these young people will be sensitive to God’s leading as they learn more about missionary aviation.
  • Wednesday, July 16
    South Sudan is experiencing many difficulties, including food shortages, flooding, and a cholera outbreak. Please pray for the many displaced people suffering through these hardships.
  • Thursday, July 17
    The MozMed flying doctor program in Mozambique is still seeking doctors willing to provide medical care in remote and difficult areas. Please ask God to send committed physicians to meet this need. The present MozMed doctors have completed their assignments and are departing this month. Learn more.
  • Friday, July 18
    Thank you for praying for Matt and Ellie Scheer and their children. The Scheers are a new MAF missionary family currently attending language school in Salatiga, Indonesia. Read more about this family at www.maf.org/Scheer.
  • Saturday, July 19
    Pray for the youth camp underway in Nyankunde, eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Some 80 young people are attending this sports/Bible camp. Pray for safety in all activities and that many might be transformed through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Sunday, July 20
