“For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.”— Psalm 84:11 (NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, July 22
Please pray for MAF’s overseas staff as they seek to minister to the local people. One MAF pilot/ mechanic expressed it very well when he said, “We’re here to touch lives and not just to move people around.”
  • Tuesday, July 23
Pray also for the local people who serve with MAF programs overseas. They provide invaluable services—some in the office, some in the hangar, and some in other roles.
  • Wednesday, July 24
Give thanks that the MAF International team in Chad was able to dig a well to provide a reliable water source. Pray that they can find an effective way to share this with their neighbors. Pray also that they will find fuel to keep the generator running during power outages.
  • Thursday, July 25
Thank God for the MAF missionaries who are ready to serve. There are often difficulties and delays in obtaining visas. Pray for the missionaries waiting patiently for the door to open.
  • Friday, July 26
Lift MAF’s Disaster Response Team in prayer. Low-income countries account for only 9% of the world’s disasters, but 48% of the fatalities. MAF responded to the disasters in Haiti, Indonesia, and Mozambique.
  • Saturday, July 27
Many members of the team in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo have been struggling with health issues. Please pray for healing.
  • Sunday, July 28
Please lift up the MAF team attending AirVenture Oshkosh next week. Pray that they will be a blessing to the people they encounter, and that many will learn about the mission of MAF.
