In Psalm 51, King David recognized the importance of confessing his sins and repenting, which sets in motion God’s purifying and restoring work in his life—as it does in ours. May we consistently open our ears to God’s joy and forgiveness. This results in a satistying life, full of healing and rejoicing!

This week is EAA AirVenture week in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, which is known as one of the largest and best air shows in the world. MAF is one of 900 exhibitors. Pray for good interactions with prospective MAF missionaries and donors. Pray for good health and spiritual anointing for the MAF staff who are representing the ministry there.

  • Wednesday, July 26

Praise God for the volunteers who are generous in offering their expertise to help MAF in many areas. I’m especially grateful for Anne, Dave, Diane, Karen, and Liane, who are helping me (Linda Whiting) with donor acknowledgment projects this week.

  • Thursday, July 27

Lift up Kyle and Esther Ambrose who serve with MAF as teachers in Papua, Indonesia, after teaching in Zaire (now DRC) and Mali. Pray for a good summer furlough, for smooth logistics, and sweet connections with family and supporters.

  • Friday, July 28

Please pray for the MAF Kalimantan team in Palangkaraya as they seek to build bridges between local churches and isolated communities. MAF hopes to unite denominations that wouldn’t normally communicate with each other.

  • Saturday, July 29

Lift up Dan and Jodi Appleby who have served with MAF since 1994, first as a mechanic family in Kalimantan, Indonesia, and now training the next generation of mission aviators in partnership with Moody Aviation in Spokane, Washington. Dan is the director of maintenance training and Jodi assists staff and students as an administrative assistant for Moody Aviation.

  • Sunday, July 30

Pray for a good month of refreshment for the teachers MAF flew from a remote village to Sentani, Papua, Indonesia, for a much needed break between school terms.
