Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, June 1
    Give thanks that MAF was able to assist an Australian eye team that visited Suai, Timor-Leste, recently to carry out cataract operations, provide eye examinations, and train local eye-care workers.
  • Tuesday, June 2
    Please remember to pray for the many relief workers still in Nepal, as well as the Nepali people still trying to survive following the earthquakes.
  • Wednesday, June 3
    Pray that the people of Nepal may come to know Jesus Christ through the many Christian organizations and people who have responded to the needs following the earthquakes.
  • Thursday, June 4
    Thank you for praying for the MAF team in eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo as they prepare homes for several new families scheduled to arrive later this year.
  • Friday, June 5
    Give thanks for the new MAF office near the airport in Monrovia, Liberia. Pray for the MAF International staff starting up this new ministry.
  • Saturday, June 6
    Please lift up David and Patricia Carwell and their family, serving the Lord in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. David is manager of MAF’s program there, and has been on staff with MAF since 1993. Learn more: www.maf.org/carwell.
  • Sunday, June 7
    We appreciate your prayers for Darryl and Debbie Cedergren. The Cedergrens have been with MAF since 1993, and previously served as a pilot-mechanic family in Venezuela. Presently they are at MAF headquarters in Nampa, Idaho, where Darryl is part of the Ministry Partnership department. Read more about the family at www.maf.org/cedergren.
