Jesus said to her, “I am the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, relies on) Me [as Savior] will live even if he dies; and everyone who lives and believes in Me [as Savior] will never die. Do you believe this?”
— John 11:25 (AMP)

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, June 19

Pray that MAF staff use the opportunities they are given to share the Good News that Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. Praise God for providing an escape from eternal death through belief in Jesus Christ, our Savior.

  • Tuesday, June 20

Praise the Lord for some fantastic opportunities in Nepal to support local air operators by strengthening their safety culture.

  • Wednesday, June 21

Haiti is entering hurricane and typhoon season. Pray that when the next storm comes, Haitian believers and the MAF families living there will be ready to lend a helping hand.

  • Thursday, June 22

Lift up Dan and Tracey Whitehead who began their missionary service with MAF in Nicaragua in 1993. Dan is currently a pilot in Ecuador, working with the MAF national affiliate, Alas de Soccoro del Ecuador. Tracey teaches Sunday School and Dan leads music at their church in Shell. Pray for them as they prepare for a much-needed furlough in Iowa. (Their last furlough was five years ago due to their daughter wanting to graduate with her class in Quito.)

  • Friday, June 23

Pray that the Lord will speed along needed MAF paperwork that is delayed in various government offices for various reasons.

  • Saturday, June 24

Lift up Larry and Linda Whiting, a pilot/mechanic family, who served for 20 years in SE Asia (mostly in Kalimantan, Indonesia), and nearly 10 years at MAF Headquarters in Nampa, Idaho. Larry is currently refurbishing aircraft for Haiti, Lesotho, and other field locations. Linda is the one who writes these articles (“hi” from me), and is the MAF donor relations coordinator.

  • Sunday, June 25

Pray that all MAF families will live lives whole-heartedly trusting the Lord, living with prudent boldness and compassionate integrity.
