“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!” — Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, June 23
Please pray for the Richards family, serving with MAF in Papua, Indonesia. Their home and possessions were destroyed in a fire last week. Give thanks that no one was injured, and please ask the Lord to provide for their needs. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/richards.
  • Tuesday, June 24
Please pray for the “guru bantu” teaching teams working in the villages of Holowon, Koropun, and Lola in Papua, Indonesia. These teachers do very crucial work, travelling into villages away from the airstrips where there are no primary schools. They work with children age nine and younger, focusing on the basics of reading, writing and math. This way these children will be more prepared to enter the primary school at the airstrip when they are about 10 years old.
  • Wednesday, June 25
Pray for the healing of a very ill baby girl named Rorisang, who was recently medevaced aboard an MAF airplane in Lesotho. Rorisang means “we give God the glory” or “we see the glory of God.”
  • Thursday, June 26
Technology classes have begun at the learning center that MAF supports in La Carpio slum in Costa Rica. Please pray for the many children who experience the love of Jesus while learning computer skills at the center. Learn more about the learning center here.
  • Friday, June 27
Please lift up Steve and Debbie Robinson, who have been with MAF since 1984. The Robinsons previously served with MAF in Honduras, Venezuela, and Mexico before being assigned to MAF headquarters. Steve works as an aviation maintenance instructor. Learn more about Steve and Debbie at www.maf.org/robinson.
  • Saturday, June 28
