MAF Advent 2015: Day 13

December 11th

There are many places around the world where being a follower of Jesus Christ is not only against the law, it is dangerous! Yet Christ’s command to take the Gospel to the ends of the earth does not exclude those places. The hope of the Gospel and the love of Jesus are desperately needed by the people living in countries that are politically or religiously isolated. MAF operates in varying capacities to bring the love of Christ to these people.

Here are a few specific ways you can pray for this work:

  • Pray for one of our programs in the midst of constant change, ask for stable family life and spiritual growth.
  • Pray for wisdom as teams evaluate security for staff and flight operations.
  • Ask God to lead staff in demonstrating to national workers what it means to trust God amid difficulties.
  • Lift up students going through maintenance and/or aviation training programs.
  • Pray for key relationships to be strong and fruitful.
