“You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone. You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.” — 2 Corinthians 3:2-3 (NIV)

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, May 12
Please pray for the MAF International team working to establish a new flight program in Liberia.
  • Tuesday, May 13
Remember former MAF staff who have served the Lord overseas and are now retired. Pray for these committed servants as they minister where they are now.
  • Wednesday, May 14
Thank you for praying for Mark and Kelly Hewes, MAF personnel who are leaving today for Ecuador—the first stop in a two-year assignment. Mark and Kelly will serve as “roving reporters,” documenting how God is working in isolated parts of the world. Learn more about the Hewes at www.maf.org/hewes.
  • Thursday, May 15
Please lift up MAF staff members Perry and LaNnae Pust. They served with MAF in Indonesia for 21 years—Perry as a pilot/mechanic and LaNnae as a teacher. Now they reside in Washington state, where Perry is an MAF recruiter. Read more about their ministry at www.maf.org/pust.
  • Friday, May 16
Pray for the staff of MAF-Learning Technologies who are developing “LibraryBox,” a new tool for sharing Bible resources.
  • Saturday, May 17
Please pray for the MAF team in Lesotho, a small African country. Physical and spiritual needs are great in this mountainous nation, where some 23 percent of the population suffers from HIV/AIDS. Pray that God will change the hearts of people here so that many barriers to the Gospel will be overcome.
  • Sunday, May 18
The MAF team in Oaxaca, Mexico, is experiencing challenges related to the importation of a missionary aircraft. Pray that these challenges will be overcome and the airplane placed into service soon.
