Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, May 18
    Continue to pray for the people of Nepal who are suffering following several earthquakes that have caused widespread damage.
  • Tuesday, May 18
    In Madagascar, MAF is supporting Mercy Ships with many flights. Pray that many will be healed and God will be glorified.
  • Wednesday, May 20
    Please ask the Lord to provide volunteers to help finish the interior of the new MAF hangar in Lesotho.
  • Thursday, May 21
    Pray for healing for patients flown by MAF from Kwiyawagi to Wamena, in Papua, Indonesia, for medical treatment. They suffered severe burns when the hut they were sheltering in was hit by lightning and set alight.
  • Friday, May 22
    Pray for Sean and Rebecca Cannon who serve at MAF’s Palangkaraya base in Papua, Indonesia. Sean is a pilot/mechanic. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/Cannon.
  • Saturday, May 23
    The country of Chad is experiencing sand storms that can blow in very quickly. These can affect and endanger MAF flights. Praise God MAF’s planes were able to return to N’Djamena and land in the last two storms, and pray for protection of future flights.
  • Sunday, May 24
    Please lift up Daniel and Karen C. and their children, serving in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Daniel manages MAF’s base there.
