For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
—Romans 8:38-39 (NASB)

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, May 2

Praise God for His amazing love for each of us. Pray that MAF staff will have many open doors to share God’s unshakable and inseparable love with others.

  • Tuesday, May 3

Pray for health and safety for MAF staff in Southeast Asia who are living and working in extremely hot conditions—the longest heat wave in 65 years in some areas—along with dense smoke from burning rice fields and inversion layers.

  • Wednesday, May 4

Pray for stamina and encouragement for the MAF staff in South Central Asia. May the Lord open and shut doors according to His compassionate purposes.

  • Thursday, May 5

Praise God that MAF staff are seeing people come to the Lord in Indonesia! Pray for the continued faithfulness of our teams to sow seeds liberally, and for ready hearts to receive those seeds.

  • Friday, May 6

Praise God that many sick and injured people are able to more quickly receive hospital care in Dili, Timor-Leste, because of the medical evacuation flights that MAF provides. MAF Timor-Leste has flown over 1,000 patients from the districts to Dili for urgent medical attention since the program started in 2007.

  • Saturday, May 7

The MAF team in Uganda is looking into different flight route possibilities that might serve more people in western Uganda. This region has some refugee camps and there are more on the islands in Lake Victoria. Pray that MAF finds the right partners to work with as well as for His wisdom in prioritizing areas.

  • Sunday, May 8

Pray for a breakthrough in Palangkaraya, Indonesia, regarding its airport and river landing regulations. Pray that MAF floatplane operations will be permitted to continue serving the remote villages of central Borneo.
