Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, November 18
    Pray for the people of the Philippines who are suffering following Typhoon Haiyan.
  • Tuesday, November 19
    Pray for salvation and spiritual growth for the people of Papua. Pray for the Papuan church, for wisdom and endurance for those who are engaged in ministries that are seeking to bring a clearer understanding of God’s word to the Papuan people.
  • Wednesday, November 20
    Pray for God’s guidance and blessing for Alas de Socorro del Ecuador—an MAF affiliate organization—as they seek funding for a KODIAK airplane to continue the ministry work there.
  • Thursday, November 21
    Please pray for Chuck and Susan Weatherstone, ministering in Guatemala. Chuck is an MAF pilot. Please pray for his complete recovery from an illness that has been afflicting him for several months now. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/weatherstone.
  • Friday, November 22
    Please pray for new opportunities to share the love of Jesus Christ with those living in remote and isolated places in Latin America.
  • Saturday, November 23
    Pray for the January 2014 Candidate class. 2014 is almost here! Pray that God would be preparing the hearts of these future missionaries as they begin making life changes in order to serve with MAF.
  • Sunday, November 24
    Please lift up John and Sherry Lemmon, who have served with MAF for more than 30 years. Much of that time was spent in Ecuador where John served in many roles, including chief pilot and maintenance director. The Lemmons now reside in Michigan where they serve as MAF recruiters.
