Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, November 21

    Pray that MAF families will be active in sharing the Good News and that they will recognize Christ in all of it. May they be refreshed.

  • Tuesday, November 22

    Pray that the election season in Indonesia would be peaceful and not prone to violence. Pray for good relationships between MAF staff and government officials in every province.

  • Wednesday, November 23

    Please pray for Emmanuel and Kahindo Mbodwam and their four children as they raise support in France and prepare for work in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Emmanuel was born in Nigeria to parents serving in Christian radio broadcasting in Ethiopia and Nigeria. Kahindo was born in eastern DRC to Congolese missionary parents. Emmanuel and Kahindo met at Moody Bible Institute.

  • Thursday, November 24

    Please pray for MAF Philippines as its board develops new strategies for engaging the evangelical church and Praise God that airstrip control and security has improved in Haiti now that MAF airstrip agents are on the ground. The airplanes bringing aid are no longer being mobbed by people upon landing.

  • Friday, November 25

    Lift up Tim and Kathy Maynard as they travel on furlough with their three children. Tim is the base operations Lift up David and Linda McCleery who have served the Lord in a variety of roles with MAF since 1992. Currently Dave is the Latin America regional director, overseeing ministry bases in seven Latin American countries. Additionally, Dave is involved in mobilizing new missionaries in the midwest region of the USA.

  • Saturday,November 26

    Pray for the MAF team in Timor-Leste as they build relationships with community development agencies in the country.

  • Sunday,November 27

    Praise God for MAF’s new Northern Shuttle service in Bangladesh. Terre des Hommes (TDH) was the first organization to fly with MAF on this route. TDH is working to improve the country’s primary health care system.
