October 12 – 18, 2015

“May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, put you together—spirit, soul, and body—and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The One who called you is completely dependable. If he said it, he’ll do it!” — 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, October 12

Last week shots were fired just behind the MAF compound in South Sudan. Give thanks that none of our staff or families were hurt. Pray for their continued protection and for peace in South Sudan.

  • Tuesday, October 13

Daniel and Joy Geaslen serve MAF as a pilot/mechanic family in Papua, Indonesia. Praise God for their six years of marriage and two daughters. Pray for the upcoming birth of their baby boy. May the Lord bless their relationships and MAF ministry for His glory.

  • Wednesday, October 14

Ask for God’s wisdom during budget planning for 2016 in each MAF department. May the LORD’s purposes be accomplished.

  • Thursday, October 15

Lift up the MAF team in Papua New Guinea to find a good solution to the aircraft fuel situation across the Highlands of PNG. Due to the low water level of the Fly River, barge shipments from Port Moresby are being delayed. Flights may soon have to be cancelled due to lack of fuel.

  • Friday, October 16

Please pray for God’s wisdom as Craig and Ruth Goodman juggle work responsibilities and family life. Craig served as a maintenance specialist in Indonesia and now Craig works as the Turbine Engine Coordinator at the U.S. Headquarters in Nampa, Idaho.

  • Saturday, October 17

Pray for divine opportunities for MAF Ministry Advocates to share and support the global ministry of MAF in their sphere of influence.

  • Sunday, October 18

Praise God for calling each of us and making us whole and holy in Jesus Christ. Thank Him for being dependable to accomplish His work.
