Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, October 20
Pray for the ongoing rebuilding of MAF’s base in Nyankunde, Democratic Republic of the Congo—for financial provision, and for work on three more staff houses, offices, hangars, and school buildings in preparation for what God has purposed for our team and ministry in the days ahead.
  • Tuesday, October 21
Please pray for government approval in Haiti to build a taxiway connecting the MAF hangar to the ramp area.
  • Wednesday, October 22
Pray for new MAF staff in various stages of pre-field deputation: Grady and Holly Nace, Brock and Lisa Larson, Chad and Jamie Dimon, Stephen and Ruth Hale, Tim Brooks, and Mike and Brooke Harwood. Pray that God would open doors and lead them to those He has chosen to partner with them. Pray that this deputation time will grow their faith and trust in our Lord. Read about MAF’s pre-field missionaries.
  • Thursday, October 23
MAF has taken initial steps toward beginning flight service in Myanmar. Pray that the Lord will open and close doors according to His will.
  • Friday, October 24
Asas de Socorro, an MAF affiliate organization in Brazil, will be holding medical/evangelistic clinics in the town of Curuca in November. Pray that many will respond to God’s Word and many will be healed.
  • Saturday, October 25
Please pray for the MAF recruiters who are busy travelling to conferences, career fairs, and other recruiting events. Ask for God-directed connections and wisdom as they speak with missionary candidates.
