October 28 – November 3, 2013

Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening? God doesn’t come and go. God lasts. He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine. He doesn’t pause to catch his breath. And he knows everything inside and out. — Isaiah 40:28 (The Message)

“Any concern too small to be turned into a prayer is too small to be made into a burden.” — Corrie Ten Boom

Priorities for Prayer

  • Monday, October 28
Pray for the MAF team in Lesotho as several new missionary families have recently arrived. Pray that that they will adjust well to life in a new country and culture.
  • Tuesday, October 29
Lesotho is in the middle of windy season. Pray for safety and good decision making for the MAF pilots as they battle winds in the mountains.
  • Wednesday, October 30
Pray for rain for the country of Lesotho. It is in the midst of a drought and rivers are beginning to dry up.
  • Thursday, October 31
Praise God that the MAF program in Lesotho has received the necessary permissions for the construction of a new hangar. Pray that we will be able to break ground soon.
  • Friday, November 1
Lift up Dave and Gerd LePoidevin who serve with MAF in Mozambique. Dave is a pilot/mechanic and also the program manager. Learn more about this family at www.maf.org/lepoidevin.
  • Saturday, November 2
Pray that MAF staff members will be salt and light to every person who climbs aboard our aircraft or passes through our facilities.
  • Sunday, November 3
Give thanks that the MAF hangar relocation in Haiti is mostly completed. Pray for the remaining items — the concrete ramp to access the hangar, electricity to the hangar, office remodeling, and fuel shed completion.
