“I lift up my eyes to the hills – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.”
— Psalm 121:1-4 (NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Tuesday, October 9
Praise God today for answered prayer in Haiti. The Cessna Caravan that arrived there in August has been granted approval need to fly and serve the Haitian people.
  • Wednesday, October 10
Also remember to pray for an MAF family who has been called upon to move from a country they have grown to love. Because of changing needs, they have been asked to transfer to another program. Please pray that they will grow and be fruitful in this new ministry field.
  • Thursday, October 11
Pray for new missionary families who are making final preparations for their first overseas mission assignments. Goodbyes don’t come easy.
  • Friday, October 12
Thank God today for the fact that the last two KODIAK aircraft sent to Indonesia have been given the authorization to fly in that country. May these planes be a blessing to the people MAF serves.
  • Saturday, October 13
The Francophonie (Francophone Assembly), which promotes the solidarity of French-speaking countries in an effort to combat poverty and organized crime, is being hosted in Kinshasa, DRC today and tomorrow. Pray that this event takes place peacefully and is successful.
  • Sunday, October 14
Please pray that MAF’s efforts to provide much-needed services to other mission organizations will be blessed with a fruitful harvest of new souls born into the Kingdom of God.
