…so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. — Isaiah 55:11 (NIV 1984)

“Prayer becomes real when we grasp the reality and goodness of God’s constant presence with ‘the real me.'” — John Ortberg Jr.

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, September 30
Please pray for leaders of MAF-US and MAF International as they work together toward common goals. Ask God to give them knowledge of His will as they strive to bring the good news of the Gospel to remote and isolated people of the world.
  • Tuesday, October 1
Please lift up Roy and Lientje Kidjo who serve with MAF in Papua, Indonesia. Roy is an IT Specialist. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/kidjo.
  • Wednesday, October 2
Remember to pray for MAF staff working collaboratively with other mission organizations such as New Tribes Mission. Our mutual efforts make it possible to present the Gospel to people who have never heard.
  • Thursday, SOctober 3
Please pray for the Danforth family—new MAF missionaries who have just arrived in Lesotho. Pray for a smooth transition to life in a new country. You’ll find more about this family at http://www.maf.org/danforth.
  • Friday, October 4
Pray today for MAF dorm parents working at an international school catering to missionary kids. Lift them up as they provide spiritual guidance and emotional support to children living apart from their parents.
  • Saturday, October 5
Please lift up Justin and Corrinne Koens, and their five children, who serve with MAF in Jakarta, Indonesia. Justin is assistant to the regional manager for MAF in Indonesia. Read more about this family at http://www.maf.org/koens.
  • Sunday, October 6
You may never get to know them, but today God is calling people to full-time service as missionaries. Please pray that they will say “yes” to the Lord and His will.
