“As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on those who fear him; for he knows how we are formed, he remembers that we are dust.”— Psalm 103:13-14 (NIV 1984)

“Wishing will never be a substitute for prayer.”— Ed Cole

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, May 27
MAF is committed to “First Person Witness.” Will you pray with us, asking the Lord to give many opportunities to share God’s love as we are also meeting physical needs?
  • Tuesday, May 28
Serving the Lord in the ministry of MAF is a joy and a privilege. But furloughs after three and one half years of service are both appreciated and needed. Pray for rest and renewal for missionaries spending time with family and friends back home.
  • Wednesday, May 29
Pray for God’s Word to transform lives in Kalimantan. Recently MAF pilots flew several thousand Gideon Bibles to a local evangelist to use in his ministry to the unreached.
  • Thursday, May 30
Please lift up David and Jill Holmes who serve with MAF in Mozambique where David is a pilot/mechanic and Jill is helping in the office. Pray for continued improvement of their Portuguese language skills and the relationships they are building within their community. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/holmes.
  • Friday, May 31
Pray for missionary kids who are graduating from high school, coming back “home,” looking for jobs, and preparing for college. Re-entry into American culture can be a real challenge.
  • Saturday, June 1
Please pray for David and Natalie Holsten and their four children who minister with MAF in Papua, Indonesia. David is a pilot/mechanic and is assistant program manager. Learn more about their ministry at www.maf.org/holsten.
  • Sunday, June 2
Give thanks for MAF’s recent dinner event in Lesotho, attended by the Minister of Health, to celebrate 33 years of service in that country.
