April 22 – 28, 2013

“A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment.” — Ecclesiastes 2:24-25 (NIV 1984)

Priorities for Prayer

Mission Aviation Fellowship is grateful for the many friends who pray daily for this ministry. Thank you for your faithful intercession!

  • Monday, April 22
Give thanks for a productive MAF information technology conference in Uganda last week. Praise God for how he is using IT to advance his kingdom around the world.
  • Tuesday, April 23
Please pray that the MAF Lesotho program can finish the installation of a fuel system that will allow them to receive fuel in bulk and significantly reduce expenses.
  • Wednesday, April 24
Pray that the measles epidemic in East DRC can be contained. To date some 140,000 children have been vaccinated.
  • Thursday, April 25
Thank God for the five bases in Papua, Indonesia with 40 expat staff and 80 Papuan staff with 13 planes.
  • Friday, April 26
MAF just completed an assessment trip to evaluate the possibility of ministering in a new country. Pray for wisdom as we consider the needs and the opportunities of serving there.
  • Saturday, April 27
A school that MAF missionary children attend in Asia is currently unable to issue visas, which means they cannot bring teachers into the country. Most of the teachers’ visas expire in July. Pray for a miracle.
  • Sunday, April 28
Thank God for the King Air plane that has just been refurbished and is back in service in Central Asia. Give thanks also for the generous supporters whose gifts made the repairs possible.
