He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
-John 7:38 (NKJV)

Monday, December 10
Lord Jesus, we choose to put our trust and believe You! Help us in the areas we don’t yet rely on You completely. Thank You for the rivers of living water You promise will flow from deep within us as we put our faith in You. Fill our dry places with Your life.

Praise God for the language evaluation flights that the MAF Papua team was able to do recently. The purpose of these flights is to help one of our mission partners as they decide where best to start a new initiative to reach the south coast region of Papua, Indonesia. Photo by Mark and Kelly Hewes

Wednesday, December 12
Please pray for wisdom and safety for the MAF Timor-Leste pilots during this rainy season, which makes flying difficult, particularly in the afternoons.

Thursday, December 13
Lift up Brad and Kristian Westom, an MAF pilot/mechanic family who has served in Congo, Central African Republic, and Lesotho. Currently Brad is serving in Nampa, Idaho, as part of the MAF Member Care team. Brad helps MAFers work through a variety of issues: learning ways to be a first-person witness as they build cross-cultural relationships, maintaining a healthy marriage, spiritual warfare, conflict resolution with team members, and handling stress and fatigue in new environments.

Friday, December 14
Praise God that MAF Australia was recently given the prestigious Southern Cross award for outstanding contribution and service to civil aviation in Australia and was inducted into the Australian Aviation Hall of Fame. To God be the glory!

Saturday, December 15
Lift up Will and Julie White, a pilot/mechanic family who joined MAF in 1996. They served in Haiti where Will was the chief pilot, program flight scheduler, and disaster response coordinator. Currently Will readies MAF aircraft for programs around the world as a maintenance specialist. Julie helps coordinate MAF travel from MAF’s Nampa headquarters.

Sunday, December 16
Please continue to pray for a full recovery for Dave Forney, MAF pilot in Uganda, who has suffered serious injuries from being run over by a car after being knocked off his motorcycle by a hit-and-run driver. Pray for peace of mind for the family and that Dave’s physical therapy would go well. Photo by Antoine Pluss.
