May 14 – 20, 2012

When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually? Does he keep on breaking up and harrowing the soil? When he has leveled the surface, does he not sow caraway and scatter cummin? Does he not plant wheat in its place, barley in its plot, and spelt in its field? His God instructs him and teaches him the right way.
— Isaiah 28:24-26 (NIV, 1984)

Please pray for an Indonesian Bible school student who has an infection in her brain after a long bout with typhoid. Narti is 17, from a faraway interior village, and is struggling to survive. MAF pilot Brian Underhill flew her out from the Bible school to Tarakan. Holly Underhill and some Indonesian MAF employees have been trying to get her the care she needs in the hospital there. MAF and Indonesian churches are joining together to fund her expensive care.
  • Wednesday, May 16
The International Association of Missionary Aviation (IAMA) is holding its annual conference at MAF headquarters in Nampa, beginning today. Please ask the Lord to bless this gathering.
